JumpStart 23

JumpStart 23 is the 2023 incarnation of my original Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and EMC class. The purpose is to cover everything that is important to create right the first time designs at a non-SI-EMC expert level in a single one day class.
The class covers the following topics:

How proper layer stack-up, routing topology, termination and via structures produce a quality signal at the receiver and control both cross talk and radiated EMI.

How to design appropriate structures that produce quiet power.

How to design grounding systems that do not create noise and radiate.

How to design off board I/O that works properly and does not radiate. This includes both cables and board to board connectors.

How to design mixed signal Digital / Analog / RF boards that do not interfere with each other.

How to route LVDS signals vs True Differential signals

How to Design DDR 3, 4, 5 memory systems that work reliably at full speed.

How to design SERDES systems that work properly up to 26 GHz.

How to design multi board / multi box systems that do not radiate.

The uses and limitation of IBIS-AMI simulation vs COM (Channel Operating Margin)

The importance of a defined process for repeatable high speed system design success.

The optional second day of this class uses one of your designs (old or new) as an example to apply the first days material.
